Multimedia Service Platform¶
Multimedia Service Platform is future-proof turnkey solution for delivery of
SIP services like voice and video over IP (VoIP), instant messaging (IM) and
Presence to SIP end-points.

The platform is based on IETF standards and integrates the best-of-breed
Open Source software components available on the market. It can be
distributed across multiple data centers to scale to serve millions of SIP
end-points by using a self-organizing network design.

Scalability¶
The platform scales to serve 30,000 SIP end-points and the traffic associated with them. For scalability beyond 30000 end-points SIP Thor architecture must be used.
Resilience¶
The platform is using cluster of active/passive servers for its core functions. For each function, except for the Media Relay that can run in active mode on multiple servers, all logical functions are active on one server at a time.
